Visitors from visa-restricted countries need to apply for their tourist visas before visiting South Africa. Visa-exempt passport holders will obtain a tourist visa upon arrival.

A relative’s visa may be applied for by a family member within the first and second step of kinship of the South African citizen or permanent residence holder.

Long-term visitor’s visa

A long-term visitor’s visa may be issued to a foreigner who intends to conduct activities
